GTA 6 release date greatly exaggerated by industry analyst

If there is any doubt left that GTA VI is not going to make the 2025 that Rockstar Games stated it would, allow me to point you to Brendan Sinclair, an industry analyst. He thinks games are gonna go ka-blam in 2025 and includes GTA VI in that list thereby pin-pointing that game into the current year.
In a piece published this year Sinclair wrote, ‘In April if you look towards 2025, if interest rates come down and money becomes a little bit more free-flowing to devs and pubs, we should get a boost in the development cycle again’.
He thinks that 2025 will be a record-breaking year for earning and revenue primarily because of GTA VI, which has wooed a lot of awards for the most anticipated game of 2025.
That will give us a fresh set of interested parties with GTA VI in particular. It’s certainly true that there’s likely never been a more important thing to ever release in the industry, so no pressure,” he quips.
People are already very excited to get their hands on the next Grand Theft Auto game which will be GTA VI and when it comes out in 2025 it is estimated to recoup millions in a single day.
It comes as no surprise that other publishers and developers wish to avoid this problem, the next game from Rockstar is going to overshadow everything else on the market. If Sinclair does have insider information that the game is going to roll out as scheduled within this fiscal year then I am unaware of it, but many scoff at the notion of the game being pushed to 2026.
GTA V has sold over 200 million units globally and Rockstar games and take two got around $8.6 billion of profit. The game has been released in multiple platforms, initially was released in PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2014 and then in succeeding year was released for PS4 and Xbox one. Of course, it has been refined for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions, while having a dedicated audience on the PC platform.
These are, quite honestly, shocking figures. I can’t think of any other single game outside Super Mario and Sonic the Hedge hog that has had anything close to this kind of consumptions. In other words, there are now more copies of GTA V than the population of Russia or Bangladesh. It is rather challenging to achieve those sales numbers, but if there is a game that will achieve all of that, then it will be the GTA VI.
But those facts are quite something to live up to and the fanbase waiting for this game is passionate – and to be completely clear, I mean passionate in a good way. I do stand my ground, however, and insist that no matter what goes down in reality now, fans are never going to be satisfied.
